Gypsy Rose Lee, she became famous in burlesque as a classy and witty strip tease artist. Lee continued her strip act until the 1950s, with her 12-year-old son Erik as her assistant on the road. After the success of her book and the musical, and with three failed marriages behind her, she moved from New York to a house in Beverly Hills, made appearances on television talk shows and Hollywood Squares, presided over her own successful talk show for housewives, and indulged in her hobbies of gardening, knitting, antique collecting, dog breeding, and quilting.
Gypsy Rose Lee died in 1970, with the musical bearing her name guaranteeing her lasting show business fame. This book has to have all the ups and downs in Gypsy Rose Lee’s life. I would be honored to read this book.
I grew up watched the Gypsy Rose Lee syndicated TV show and have always thought she lead an amazing life, a true survivor. I look forward to reading this book!

Her story must really be somthing!! Remember seeing the musical Gypsy, all about her, and that was interesrting in itself!
